Are you thinking of running a 5K or even a marathon? Do your plans include a season of races- multi-sport or single sport? Are you perhaps starting your first season of racing triathlons, or are you a seasoned Ironman vet who is looking for a PR or a podium finish? Let BritFit develop and customize your individual training plan to prepare for your event. Plans are catered for all distances and abilities in both running and triathlon, from a 5K run to the Ironman triathlon distance. We will get you to your big event fully prepared physically and mentally. Our ultimate goal is to educate you in all the areas needed to make your day a successful one. Using the state-of-the-art Training Peaks delivery system, you will have access to your own customized training plan. Efficiently and accurately keep track of your training as the system organizes your entered data. This helps ensure a successful dialogue between you and your coach.

Getting Started
Continued success Communication is essential between you and your coach. It is an important part of a successful training plan. You are encouraged to contact Jackie, your coach weekly via phone and/or email, text. Plans are usually provided in two to four week blocks. Rates The one time initial sign up fee of $75 covers plan analysis, planning and downloading of data such as heart rate numbers, pace or power training zones The weekly coaching rate is $40.00 which covers the provided daily workouts and educational information from your coach (nutritional planning, support system of information specific to your event). Other services Swim stroke instruction Meet for a dynamic group or one on one session at a local pool or lake. Learn the science of the stroke and new drills to help develop more power. Work to improve your swim skills both in the pool and open water. You will receive a DVD of your swim showing drills practiced and changes made. Rates vary depending upon venue and participation. Hourly rate for a current client, one person session is $60 + lane rental. Running skills Make improvements in time and economy through changes made to your run mechanics. Meet with Coach Jackie for a run analysis and work on specific drills to help you make the necessary changes. You will receive a DWD of video recorded at the session showing drills and changes made. An hourly session for current clients is $60, guests $70. Bike Computrainer Rental Come ride the leading power-based bike trainer the pro’s recommend.
Britfit’s office based computrainer is now available for off season training, power testing, or checking out your next race course.

This high performance computerized indoor trainer allows you to: Lactate Threshold testing and Critical Power Testing Establish your training zones for heart rate and or power zones for your different sport needs. You can keep track of your increased levels of conditioning over a time period by re-testing at suitable time frames. Rates are $20 for all testing of current clients and $40 for guests.
